My Bio
Alice DeShane, P.C.
As a local, full-time, Realtor, I have over 16 years experience in representing Buyers and Sellers all over the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and beyond. As a Buyer, I take the time that YOU need to find the right home and the right property, and am there with you, fighting for your best interests every step of the way -- from our initial conversations regarding your home purchase, to the inspection, to your final document signing appointment and getting your keys. As a Seller, you need a Realtor who knows not only how and where to market your home, but who is familiar and versed in the contracts you'll be signing, and in how to best protect your interests throughout the transaction as well. From the time we first meet until you have your proceeds check, I keep you informed and educated, ensuring those interests are protected. And, because I rarely represent both sides in the transaction, you have the comfort of knowing that regardless of whether you're a buyer or seller, I'm on your side. I strongly believe in client representation, and am always happy to help and answer your questions. If you'd like more information regarding your home and its potential value and selling time, or more information about purchasing a home, please fee free to call or email me. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, usually before the end of the day.
I was born in Mesa, Arizona and grew up in Tempe. I graduated from Arizona State University in 1992, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and in 1994, from Northern Arizona University with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I had taught 2nd and 3rd grades for a couple of years when my childhood home became the target of eminent domain. After assisting with that year-long case, I became interested in pursuing a career in real estate, and in July 1996 I obtained my real estate license, and joined Dan Schwartz Realty, Inc. In October 2002 I obtained my Broker's license and from March 2006 to March 2008, I served as one of the Managing Brokers with the firm, teaching, advising and consulting my fellow real estate agents, while continuing to actively sell and list real estate. My time there was invaluable to me, providing me with many opportunities to learn, grow and serve the agents around me. In December of 2008, I joined Independence Realty Professionals, Inc, and have loved my time there as well, where I continue to actively represent Buyers and Sellers and their real estate needs. In October 2011, I was honored and humbled to receive the 2011 Arizona Association of Realtors, Tyler Strout Vision Award. This award emphasizes and recognizes quality service to the buying and selling public.
In addition to being a full-time Realtor, I serve on the Arizona Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee, and am an Ombudsman for the Association. I also hold active memberships in the Phoenix, Arizona and National Association of Realtors, as well as in the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service.
If you are looking for an easy going, non-pressure, yet dedicated Realtor, please give me a call. I'd love to help, and am more than happy to supply references. I look forward to speaking with you, and to the opportunity of working with you and for you.
